How the secure RFQ works
Private storage
Uploaded files are stored outside the public media library with server-level deny rules.
Restricted review
Protected downloads require an authenticated administrator, capability check and security nonce.
Validated uploads
Extension, MIME, size and ZIP-content checks reduce unsafe file handling.
Randomized filenames
Physical storage names do not expose the buyer’s original filename.
Recorded before email
The inquiry is preserved in WordPress before notification emails are attempted.
Retention control
A scheduled process removes files after the configured retention period unless the operational requirement changes.
Confidential treatment
Drawings and project information are treated as confidential business information and used for manufacturing and commercial review. Access should be limited to people and service providers who need it for that purpose.
- No public file URL is shown on the thank-you page
- Files are not attached to notification emails
- CSV export omits server paths
- Abuse controls protect the submission endpoint
NDA requests
You may request an NDA in the RFQ. Website language and operational controls do not replace a mutually reviewed and executed confidentiality agreement. The legal terms and authorized signatory must be confirmed separately.
